  A terrible experience!!! WARNING!!!! This place is a rip off. We were in Tahiti on 22nd August, 2017. It was a beautiful but pretty hot afternoon. After walking around the Marché de Papeete (the Papeete Market), we took a stroll around the beautiful Nanuu Bay area and ended up finding a nice looking cafe called Le Miri Miri Tea House on the corner of Boulevard de la Reine Pomare IV and Rue Yves Martin. As you can see from the photos here you can't miss it as it's painted in red, even the footpath there is red and there are lots of beautiful tropical plants and fern trees in tubs around it. There were 3 of us and we each ordered an OJ. We were shocked when we got the bill and saw that they charged $11USD for each OJ. We were even more annoyed that most of each of the OJs was just blocks of ice. We complained of course but the waitress simply said sorry that's the price. RIP OFF!!! Be warned! They have two prices at this restaurant. One price for the locals and another for tourists like us. Highly recommend that you ask about the price before ordering however, from this experience, I would not recommend Le Miri Miri Tea House in a fit and we would never go back there. I've given this place one star but I have to say that one star is one star too many for Le Miri Miri Tea House.
