::Gorgeous facilities and beautiful lagoon. There were insufficient lounge chairs at the lagoon by the sandy area, so we could not enjoy it the way we wanted to until a few people left their chairs. However, there were plenty of lounge beach chairs by the pool. I was only there for a day visit so cannot judge the hotel itself, but as we were supposed to enjoy a full buffet lunch with our visit and instead were served a fixed menu with one selection only, (a swordfish steak), which was okay not great, but I regret I have to give my visit a 3 star rating. Beautiful grounds, though.

::Beautiful resort, conveniently located close to the airport. Breakfast buffer is awesome but the dinner buffet kind of sucked, it's also pricey! The a la carte menu looked a lot better in terms of presentation and better options too!

::Nice resort, great evening shows. If you're debating between buffet or a la carte menu, go with the latter. Dinner buffet is not bad, but pricey for what it offers. They also have local town shuttles, which is a nice plus.

::My wife and i stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Paul Gauguin cruise. Thankfully this was only a small part of our trip or else I would have felt cheated. The room was adequate except for the A.C., which keeps the room only slightly cooler than the external temperature. The pools and amenities are what you would expect at a tropical resort, but the poolside service is limited. Not that I'm too lazy to get my own drink at the bar, but for $400+ per night and $20+ per drink I expect to be waited on. The restaurant choices are limited to a buffet and a seaside restaurant. Since we checked in late our 1st night we only had dinner the 2nd night and chose the buffet due to the local performance that followed. The quality of food was average and severely over priced ($107/person). This same venue offered a buffet style breakfast, which was of similar quality and also overpriced ($43/person). For perspective I will let you know that we often spend $150 - $200 on dinner at local restaurants when we go out for dinner, so when I say it's overpriced I mean it's lacking in quality. Overall, it was adequate for our 2 night stay, but should not be your entire vacation.

::I spent a couple of nights here with my wife due to a stop over. Hotel is gorgeous and room are really luxury and full of equipment and with a nice view on the bay. The hotel has a fantastic swimming pool and it is on the beach which however is black color so not to much inviting to stay there. Staff is friendly and food is fair. Price are of course high.
